We'll meet at your chosen meeting point and time to set off on this guided tuk tuk tour of Funchal.
Touring the capital of Madeira on board a tuk tuk is an original and fun way to discover this Portuguese city. We'll spend an hour exploring the most important monuments in Funchal and learning about its history. Do you know who João Gonçalves Zarco was? We'll find out all about him as we pass his famous statue!
As well as the São João Baptista do Pico Fortress and, of course, the Cathedral, we'll pass by other iconic places such as the main market and we'll even head to Vila Guida viewpoint to admire some spectacular views of the city.
The tour will end an hour later back at the starting point.
We'll pick you up at the indicated time to start the tour. From the old part of the city of Funchal, we'll go through some streets and head up to the top of the Pinnacle viewpoint, located at a height of 280 meters (918 feet) above sea level. From there, you can enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the city of Funchal and the coast, one of the most emblematic views of Madeira Island!
The tour continues eastward to Garajau, where you'll contemplate the majestic statue of Christ the King, perched on top of the cliff. From this location, you'll fall in love with the breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters below. In addition, throughout the tour, we'll share stories and fun facts about the places we pass by. Can you think of a better plan in Funchal?
The tuk tuks have a maximum capacity of 3 people.
