Dolmabahçe Palace Tour

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and head to Dolmabahçe Palace, a jewel of the Ottoman Empire built on the shores of the Bosphorus.

Once there, we'll enjoy a tour of the palace with an English-speaking guide. Along the way, we'll talk about the origins of this elegant residence, built under Sultan Abdülmecid between 1843 and 1856.

We'll tell you about that era, when the palace became the main seat of power, taking over that role from Topkapı Palace. As you'll see, the building has 285 rooms, 46 halls, 6 Turkish baths, and 68 bathrooms. But one of its biggest draws is its ceilings and the objects decorating its rooms. Tons of gold, French Baccarat crystal, and English and Murano glass were used!

One of its most impressive pieces is a gigantic Bohemian crystal chandelier that weighs a whopping 4.5 metric tons (5 US tons). It'll leave you speechless!

After visiting Dolmabahçe Palace, the tour continues to the Asian side of Istanbul to discover some of the city's best photo spots: Çamlıca Hill and the Grand Çamlıca Mosque. We'll cross the famous Bosphorus Bridge, going from Europe to Asia in just a few minutes while taking in spectacular panoramic views of the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, the Black Sea, and the Golden Horn.

Finally, after enjoying the views, we'll head back to your hotel in Istanbul, arriving 3 hours after pickup.
